1. Introduction

Welcome to the Pattes & Portraits website (hereinafter "the Site"). These Terms of Use (hereinafter "the Terms") govern your access to and use of the Site, as well as the purchase of our services. By accessing the Site or making a purchase, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not accept these Terms, please do not use the Site.

2. Services Offered

Pattes & Portraits offers fully customized pet portraits as framed prints and wall decorations. Customers can choose from various formats, finishes, artistic styles, and background colors. Services include:

• Custom digital creations based on the photos you provide
• Design validation before printing
• High-quality printing on premium paper
• Framing and finishing options
• Delivery across Canada

3. Intellectual Property

All elements of the Site (design, content, images, logos, text) are the intellectual property of Pattes & Portraits or its partners and are protected by copyright law. The artistic compositions created for you remain the property of Pattes & Portraits. You receive a personal, non-commercial license to use the portrait created. You are not authorized to reproduce, modify, distribute, or sell the portrait without prior written consent.

4. Your Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Provide clear, high-quality photos of your pet
• Own the copyright to the photos provided
• Not use the Site for illegal or offensive purposes
• Provide accurate and up-to-date information when ordering

5. Limitation of Liability

Pattes & Portraits cannot be held responsible for:

• Indirect or incidental damages resulting from use of the Site
• Technical interruptions or failures of the Site
• The quality of the photos you provide
• Damage occurring after delivery of the product

6. Order Policy

Orders are accepted according to the Pattes & Portraits production schedule. Each order is unique and created especially for you. Orders cannot be cancelled once creative work has begun. Full payment is required at the time of order.

7. Delivery Times

Estimated delivery times are provided for informational purposes and do not constitute a guarantee. Pattes & Portraits strives to meet delivery deadlines but cannot be held responsible for delays caused by carriers, weather conditions, or other circumstances beyond our control. Delivery includes standard insurance. Additional insurance fees are the customer's responsibility if desired.

8. Satisfaction & Returns Policy

All our portraits are carefully created and can be validated with you before printing. If you are not satisfied with the portrait received (excluding production defects or transit damage), please contact us within 7 days of receipt. We will evaluate your situation individually. Return shipping fees are your responsibility if a refund is granted.

Production defects and transit damage: If you receive a damaged, misprinted, or incorrectly sized product, we will replace it unconditionally. Please report any issues within 48 hours of receipt.

Order cancellation: If you have placed an order recently and have changed your mind, you can cancel or change your order within 30 minutes. After 30 minutes, the cancellation or change request will be granted at our discretion, as our artists often begin work immediately after you have placed your order.

High-quality photo — your responsibility:

• Provide a clear, well-lit, high-resolution photo
• Blurry photos will produce a poor-quality portrait
• Follow our photography guidelines

9. Privacy

Your photos and personal information are handled according to our Privacy Policy. We do not share your photos with third parties without written consent, unless required by law. Submitted images may be archived in our working records but will not be used for marketing purposes without explicit authorization.

10. Modifications to the Terms

Pattes & Portraits reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes take effect upon publication on the Site. Continued use of the Site after modifications constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Québec and Canada, without regard to its conflict of law principles. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Québec.
